Borrowed from the Boys

About a month ago, I fell in love with this outfit found on Pinterest after searching for ways to pair up my oxfords.   I couldn’t wait for the weather to cool down to recreate it.  It’s the perfect combo of preppy casual with menswear details – a navy blazer, boyfriend jeans and oxfords.

You borrowed one from the boys but you are 100% LADY-LIKE & CHIC. I am in love with those Camel Oxfords. Love their Pink Soles. So perfect for Breast Cancer month. And your Blazer is Super Great. I might have to ‘steal’ this Look, too. 😉

I’m better off wearing socks with my closed shoes when I can.

I have been on the look out for the perfect pair of oxfords for a while now. You really did nail this casual look. Love it.

  • I’ve yet to find a great pair of boyfriend jeans. I definitely love this look! The contrast between the casual jeans and the blazer makes it interesting!

  • Serendipity again. I’m probably not doing brogues or oxfords, but I am trying to figure out boyfriend jeans. I’d rather do almost anything than try on jeans, and am resistant even thinking about it. However, Mossimo is doable at Target! And I can wear them with that same tote … now that I have it, I’m tickled with it.
So thank you again for hints and help, lovely Alison.

  • LOVE the oxfords!!! Cute look!
