Plum Corduroy + Sheer Knit = Date Night

Uh oh, I’m obsessed with my new plum corduroys.  Which means you’re going to be seeing them in lots and lots of outfits.  They might just warrant their own series like my red jeans did.  You can check out The Red Denim Diaries to see the looks those jeans have been featured in.

But today, my red jeans are green with envy over the plum perfection I’ve discovered.  These skinny plum corduroys from Kut from the Kloth are lightweight, super comfortable and have the perfect amount of stretch.  They’ve already made it through my outfit rotation a few times even though I’ve only had them for two weeks.

Here’s how I paired them up for a casual date night with my hubby.

  1. Super cute outfit! I like how you did the tone on tone. Hmmmmmmm…….maybe you can try to make them look dressy with a black top and fancy jewelry?!?

  2. Love the colours together and the sheer in the top is such an interesting pop too. Gorgeous as always! Thanks for joining in with Wardrobe Weds

  3. i just looked around your blog and have fell in deep love. I really enjoy it and will be visiting from now on! (even though I am not a mom, and dont work from home, it still works for me!)

  4. This color looks great on you!

Also, so simple, but the socks? They look great. I never really know what is the best kind to wear when they peek out that like. Now I have some ideas! 🙂

  5. These look really nice on you- such a cute outfit. I’m always a bit scared of wearing colours but this inspires me to try some purple!
