Three Thanksgiving Outfits from Your Closet

Template v3-3

Thanksgiving is always a busy time in our household.  I usually host our family’s gathering with up to 20 guests.  The week before is filled with planning the menu, shopping for food, cooking and cleaning the house in preparation for company.

Who has time to plan what to wear let alone shop for an outfit for Thanksgiving dinner?

Luckily I have three quick outfits for you today that you can create right from your closet.  One less thing on your to-do list and mine too!

Outfit #1 – Casual Thanksgiving

Shop Your Closet: Blouse + Leopard Accent + Skinny Jeans + Ankle Boots

Outfit #2 – Dressier Thanksgiving

    Alison,

Thanks for the ideas on what to wear on Thanksgiving. I’m always so busy cooking that day that I always end in just the jeans I threw on that morning and some old graphic tee. Love all the outfits!

    Tonya

    • I’m so happy you love all the outfits Tonya. Enjoy your Thanksgiving!

  • I have all of these (thanks to you) but no Thanksgiving here (had ours last month)… must find something else to wear some fun outfits to!

    • Date night? 😉

By the way, how was your Thanksgiving?

  • hot

These are beautiful outfits but i would roast alive cooking and talking and running back and forth in any of these. I think the white blouse (no sweater) with the big pearls and a beautiful apron that I could remove later would work for me. Also, I think I’ll get a pedicure and wear flip flops. Thanks for even thinking of this, I certainly haven’t! ….(adding to my list)….

    • I love that idea of flip flops! You’ll be comfortable while entertaining.

  • Sally Welch

We are having twenty also. I am the main one cooking so I will wear something cooler than a sweater or cardigan..maybe just a blouse and pants or jeans. I won’t be wearing suede booties. I would spill something on them for sure! No scarf, bracelets but maybe a necklace.

    • I can’t wait to see what you come up with Sally!

  • brandie

beautiful! but, alas, i’ll be wearing jammies during the day and scrubs all night long….

    • Do you have work that day, Brandie? Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  • What great ideas! I love your blog!

  • steph

I will have a hard time deciding between all of these great outfits! Thanks for the ideas! Happy Thanksgiving

    • It was a little difficult trying to narrow it down to three. 😉 Happy Thanksgiving Steph!

  • Carole

I love all three outfits! Thank you so much! I hope you have wonderful Thanksgiving!

    Thanks,

    Carole

  • Judy H.

I love outfit #1! The emerald green blouse is gorgeous and would keep a busy cook cool. With the skiiny jeans and boots, it is so put together and looks like you shopped foreever for just the right pieces! The leopard (who doesn’t love leopard?) is the whipped cream on the pumpkin pie! Thanks for the great idea!

    • I have to agree Judy! I love LEOPARD!

  • I love the dressier Thanksgiving look! The perfect look. xo~ Megan The Fashionista Momma

    • It’s so much fun to get ready for the holiday’s!
