I Feel Pretty | Festive

I hate to do this to you but this reminder is just as much for me…

There are 34 days until Christmas.

34 DAYS!

This mama needs to get on the stick with preparations.  There’s decorating, baking, shopping, wrapping and holiday merry-making to be done!

But first, let’s attend to this little holiday known as Thanksgiving.  Or as my kids call it, the day before we decorate for Christmas.  🙂

Even though we’ll be hosting and I’ll be doing a lot of the cooking (two big turkeys and lots of pumpkin pies!), I still like to dress up in something that feels a little special.

This jacket from eShakti has just the right amount of sparkle to be festive without being over the top.  It’s perfect paired up with a cranberry blouse, stretchy grey jeans, and snake print heels.

  1. Between the Stunning Blazer, Python Pumps, Raspberry-Red Top & that Long Fun Necklace you do look Festive I agree. And OMG 34 more days till Christmas which means just 40 more days till it is a New Year. And I like Jo-Lynne’s Look.

My pleasure to link up on this Wednesday. =)

  2. I love those heels, but girl. Tell me you don’t cook in those, lol. We go for comfort around here. I like to look nice for photos, but we certainly don’t dress up either. 🙂 ALTHOUGH this year we are going OUT for dinner YAY so no cooking and no cleanup AND I will definitely dress up! I guess I need to start thinking about what to wear . . . Thanks for having me co-host!

  3. I cannot believe that the holidays are here! I’m totally opposite to your cherry spirits though – I love Thanksgiving and become more of a scrooge during Christmas time! (Probably because as Christmas gets closer, my students get wilder!)

    You look great!!

  4. ahhhhh how many days????? well, i think you could wear your jammies to thanksgiving and still look gorgeous. but i do love that jacket (and your necklace too!) 🙂

  5. Love the look!! And shoot, I have SO got to get on top of my Christmas shopping. I have most of the family and a couple of girlfriends I exchange gifts with actually picked out, but that doesn’t count, does it? Can I at least put a half an X in the box? 😀

  6. I love that rich cranberry color on you!

I also can’t believe that Christmas is right around the corner! Usually my pregnancies seem to creep by, but since I’m teaching this time around, I think it’ll go faster because the year is already flying by.

  7. Happy holidays! Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. Gah, didn’t do any xmas shopping yet. I’m so meh about the holidays this year!
