I Feel Pretty | Shifty

Shift Dress Two Ways What could possibly be more versatile than a great shift dress?  It can be dressed up or down with ease and made perfectly appropriate for any season.

Simple Southern Style recently sent me not one, but two shift dresses to style from their collection.

The first is this gorgeous green Holiday Shift.  For a fall daytime look, I paired it simply with a leopard scarf and cognac riding boots.

  1. The green is pretty with the leopard but that blue patterned one is stunning and I love how you’ve styled it. Chic boho.

  2. i am in love with the entire green look. it may be my boot fetish but i think that color is magnificent on you alison! it’s your fall color for sure!

  3. Lady, you look gorgeous. Both of those Shifts are great. I love that shade of Green and how you paired it with the Leopard Scarf. My favorite shift of the 2 is the Geometric-print Blue/Maroon one. Love it. You have been looking gorgeous in every single outfit, lately.

And so good that Sherry is co-hosting. She is also guest-posting for me today. Check it out. =)

  4. Hi Alison!

You look SO gorgeous!!!! I am loving the leopard with green and those tan boots. Honestly, every time I come to your blog I’m always in awe of your style – I think you are just so stunning!

Enjoy the rest of your week – and thank you for hosting!! Xx

  5. I love how you styled both of those shift dresses! I tend to shy away from them because I feel like they look like a paper sack on me, but styling them differently really makes a huge difference!!

  6. I’ve always shyed away from these because I always felt they were shapeless and made me look messy but recently I’ve seen them styled and they’re really cute!

  7. I’ve always shyed away from these because I always felt they were shapeless and made me look messy but recently I’ve seen them styled, like you did, and they’re really cute!

  8. i am a huge fan of shift dresses! they’re so easy to wear and accessorize but you always look polished and chic 🙂 love the first look with the green and leopard!
