I Feel Pretty | Times Two

peplum-sweater-two-ways I love closet pieces that can do double duty.  My new cable knit waterfall sweater from Good Night Macaroon is one of those pieces.  It’s great dressed up or down and helps me make the most out of my closet staples I already own.

If you missed Monday’s post,  be sure to stop by and check out Good Night Macaroon’s celebrity favorites, including these pieces worn by two of my style icons – Olivia Palermo and Miranda Kerr.  Plus, through midnight tonight save 20% on all of my Blogger’s Picks (offer details below).

For my dressed up look, I paired the waterfall sweater with black ankle pants and heels for my husband’s work party over the weekend.

  1. Alison what a great way to dress up and down the same piece. Perfect inspiration to help women get versatile with their wardrobes.

There is something weird happening with fashion bloggers who don’t think they can post the same article of clothing twice! How silly! I think it shows creativity and longevity when you can wear the same piece in many ways.

p.s. I’d love to hear from you! I’m hosting a reader survey and LUXURY GIVEAWAY for a $245 pair of earrings from the Paris brand Satellite. Please stop by and enter!!

  2. What a great line! Love their stuff…going to pop over now and see some more. 😉
And great looks my friend. Love that your Hunter’s match your coat so perfectly! FAB.

  3. Hi Alison! I love how you’ve styled this look with the Hunter boots. Let me rephrase that: I love both looks, however, the look with the Hunter boots is more unexpected. I find live in a rainy climate, that I’m always looking for ways to upstyle rain boots. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for hosting I Feel Pretty!

  4. That’s an awesome cardigan, Alison, I love it and it is so feminine!
Of course I love shopping but I restyle a lot of my clothes and take them from one season into the next and show that on the blog. Especially now I don’t want to buy any more winter clothes but here it is too early for the spring collection.

  5. Love the sweater, especially the two colors together! Did you get a new camera lens Alison? Or it could just be the lighting, but I am loving the color composition of these pictures. I know I am a little late, but Happy New Year! 🙂

  6. Allsion, I lvoe the peplum sweater with the contrast tipping. I also adore how it styled it. Love that color coat! Sorry I have been away for a bit, will catch up on older posts tonight.

  7. The pleated hem on the sweater is cute and so different– love how you can dress it up and wear it with heels, or for rainy days pair it with the scarf and boots. Great outfits!
