I Feel Pretty | Warm

Freezing temps blew into north Texas last week.  Time for puffer jackets, layering and warm socks.  I even broke down and bought my very first pair of rain boots.  They’re so cute and comfy that I’m hoping for more inclement weather!

Today’s pretty earrings are courtesy of Satya Jewelry.  Satya designs incorporate semi-precious stones and sacred symbols into pieces destined to become heirlooms.  The ‘Confidence’ hoop earrings I’m wearing feature a delicate peacock feather with a bezel set smooth blue agate stone.  The peacock signifies beauty, completeness and confidence while the blue agate represents creativity and good fortune.

  1. We live in Ohio, so I find it really difficult to maintain a stylish look when it is below zero!! I am actually searching for a cute coat that will keep me warm and stylish at the same time. I love this white puffer! I hope you enjoy a blessed Thanksgiving! Susan

  2. Hi Alison. First of you look so cozy, beautiful & warm in your 2 different shades of White. I love the Puffy Coat & that Awesome Sweater. But I’m 1000% in love with those boots, wow!!

I will E-Mail you soon – sorry I have been too busy and I haven’t commented in a while either. I just caught up with blogging in general. My pleasure linking up with you again – hope you like the Outfit. And being in the Thanksgiving spirit, Thank you for being a Great Blogger, Fashionista and Style Inspiration. I love your Link-up on Wednesdays. If we don’t talk sooner Happy Thanksgiving to you & your Family!! May it be a Blessed one. <3 Ada.

  3. You look so cute and cozy!!! I’ve never worn boot socks with my rain boots, but I OBVIOUSLY need to be doing that! Welly socks just went on my Christmas list!

  4. I love this look!! You look SO cute and warm!! I also meant to comment the other day. I think it was on your teen guide…but I bought those Stilla lip glosses for myself a while back and love them!!

  5. It is nice to look good, but when it gets to -15 C you throw style out the window and just hope you can stay warm. Plus I hate the cold.

Personally I hate puffy jackets. I always equate them with The Michelin Man.

I love the socks peeking out of the boots.

  6. haha only in the south do you hope for inclement weather. We already have several inches of snow on the ground – I’d happily send some your way if I could 🙂 ps. the jacket looks great!

  7. You look fab- I love winter white in coats! I’m just always too nervous to buy one for fear of getting it dirty right away. I try not to sacrifice cuteness when it’s cold (unless I”m in a super rush to get out the door) but sometimes I feel like a marshmallow with a sweater stuffed under my coat! haha!
    Happy Thanksgiving to you, Alison!

    xo Always, Abby

  8. I grew up in Texas, and a lot of my family lives there, so I’ve been hearing all about the crazy weather in Texas lately! You look super adorable in your coat and rain boots (totally eyeing those rain boots, as they are both classic and cute). 🙂

  9. What a nice cozy look!
It’s not that cold here in New Orleans but I still find it hard to stay stylish while bundled up in many scarves and jackets. So for me that means I’ve got to bring some color to the gray days with bright makeup! No pale or deep fall colors for me. I’m still reveling in the bright colors of the summer 🙂

  10. I though you always have hot weather in Texas, Alison 😉
We have snow and it is freezing cold here in the Alps and layers and down jackets are required on a daily basis.
    Your wellies are really stylish!
