I Feel Pretty | Layered

It’s finally cold enough for layering!  This is my favorite time of the year for getting dressed. Layering allows my creative juices to flow and I just love the warm coziness of a layered up look.

This Aztec cardigan from Sosie will be a mainstay in my closet this winter.  It’s going to look so cute paired up with leggings too.  Bring on the cold weather, my wardrobe is ready!

It’s Your Turn:  What’s your favorite time of the year for creating outfits?  Tell me in the comments!

I’m such a big fan of layering too – it’s great when it’s cold enough to layer but not too cold to cover everything with a big coat.

  2. Shay Shull

Yay! I’m so glad to see Erika as your co-host! She is such a cutie and a super creative mama!

  3. Susan Jeffries

I love to layer in the winter! It has been so cold here! Thanks for the introduction to the new blogger!! Blessings! Susan

  4. Lulu Soler

You look so cozy! Love it (:

  5. Sheaffer

SO SO FUN to see Erika over here co-hosting with you! I love her and I know all your readers will too. And fall is for sure my favorite time of year. I love piling on the layers!!!

  6. ADA

You are rocking your layers. The chunky, cozy cardigan is great. I am pinning this look for inspiration. My pleasure to be back here after a while, due to traveling. =)

  7. Lauren

I am in love with this cardigan! It looks fab against those red jeans!

  8. Nicki

I wore my blush jeans last week, and the outfit I put together is in the link up today! I really like them! thanks for the tip on them! So many different way to wear them too.

  9. Michael

Oooh I like that cardigan! Alison, any time you want to purge your closet let me know! 🙂

  10. susan

I love that cardigan! It’s just gorgeous.
And I’m a big fall fan as well…that said, I am sure it is much colder here in T.O. than where you are and the layering season sadly involves a big, unflattering parka sooner than I would like! xo

  11. Kendra

Great outfit! I’m actually wearing the exact same cardigan right now! Love it!

  12. Lee

Love your outfit! That sweater is fab and looks cozy!
    xo, Lee

  13. Style Journey

Fall is definitely my favorite season for fashion. It has so many possibilities with layering and playing with different combos. Loving the red jeans with the tribal sweater. You look great as always!

  14. Katie @ Loverly She

How cute are you! It snowed for the first time two days ago here – and it’s absolutely freezing, so I’m all layered up too. 🙂

  15. WE

Layering is exactly what I have started doing as well..its gotten really really cold here, the wind adds more to it, so layering helps me stay warm! loving the aztec cardi here..You look stunning as usual 🙂

  16. Lauren @ Imperfect & Fabulous

I’m so jealous of your outfit today! For one thing I’m dying for fall weather so I can wear layers. More than that, I’ve been on the hunt for a tribal sweater like that and I LOVE yours!

  17. KC Saling

I love that cardigan! It just looks like something you’d want to wrap yourself up in sitting out by the fire pit and roasting marshmallows – or maybe we’re past that point in fall and it’s too chilly for that, but that’s the idea it sparks! 🙂

  18. Suzanne

I love that cardigan. How I wish I lived somewhere that a simple cardigan layered would suffice for winter. Sadly that would need to be layered under a long heavy winter coat, or worse, a puffy parka.

    This looks lovely.

  19. Abby

I absolutely LOVE this outfit… everything about it! I am with you- I love this time of year because of the layering… sweater, scarves, leggings, boots… ahhh, I love it all. 🙂

    xo Always, Abby

  20. Cous Cous and Cork Wedges

I love that cardigan Alison! I’m on the hunt for a chunky one to layer over dresses & leggings & I love the Aztec design on yours! Thanx for the linky! So glad you had a good one last week! Ax

  21. Jennae @ Green & Gorgeous

This look IS really warm and cozy! I love it! I imagine it feels like wearing a really stylish blanket 🙂

  22. Mo

The tribal sweater with the red jeans is a really cute look! 🙂

  23. Silvergirl

I am still on the fence about the whole tribal/aztec sweater thing
I do like how you styled yours though

  24. Morgan

Love those boots! I am a summer season girl myself. Probably because I’ve lived in cooler climates and summer is the shorter season.

  25. Shybiker

Stylish look. And Fall is one of my favorite seasons ’cause I can break out colored tights.

  26. Karri

Your cardigan looks so warm and cozy!!!!!

  27. Tiffany

That sweater is gorgeous! And I love those boots!

  28. Head to Toe Chic

Such a pretty sweater!! It looks so cozy!

  29. Iris

I’m loving the chambray and the tribal sweater! Looks very chic on you!!! You look darling in every photo!!! 😀

  30. Mrs C

Hail be to layering! I am a huge fan! Here in Dubai layering is needed especially when it is hot outside and freezing in the malls!

  31. Sherry

Such a comfy look for fall. I love that sweater with the boots.

  32. Bailey

I love the idea of a chambray top under a chunky cardigan! I’ll be wearing something like that this weekend, for sure!
