Ask Alison | My Everyday Makeup Routine
I used to have a regular feature called “Ask Alison” where I answered reader submitted questions about style and beauty. I thought it would be fun to revive it because I’ve gotten some really great questions lately that I want to share with all of you. For my first edition of the reboot of this series, I’m answering one of the questions I get asked possibly more than any other.
Hey Alison! Can you tell me about your daily makeup routine? Your makeup is always just right and never looks too “overdone”. What are your favorite products and how do you apply them? – Jenna C.
First off, thank Jenna! It’s taken a lot of years and trial and error to arrive at my everyday makeup look. I pretty much do the same makeup every day, no matter what I have going on. While there are times that I do get a little more gussied up, this is the “base face” that I start with for everything.
It’s easiest to show you my steps on video so here’s a quick one I threw together of my daily makeup routine.
Products Mentioned in Video:
Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Sun Damage Lotion SPF 28
Monistat Chafing Relief Powder Gel
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Radiant Firming Makeup
Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Loose Face Powder
Sonia Kashuk Chic Luminosity Bronzer/Blush Duo
Sonia Kashuk Dense Blush/Powder Brush No. 24
Lash Domination Volumizing Mascara
IT Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Brow Pencil
