Three Fashion-Forward Fall Looks | Nordstrom Rack

Three Fashion-Forward Fall Looks | Nordstrom Rack

Today’s the day I get to reveal my three fall outfits from Nordstrom Rack. A few days ago, I attended a private preview of the new store opening in Dallas. You can read more about that in THIS POST.  One of my blogging assignments was to find and style three different fall looks for three upcoming occasions.

In about 15 minutes, I had all three of these looks put together and ready to try on.

Look 1 – Wine Tasting with My Sisters

Outfit Details: Burgundy leather jacket, print blouse, olive jeans, snake print heels.

The gorgeous color of this jacket reminds me of a fine wine. It looks especially rich when paired up with olive skinnies.

Outfit Details: Gray layered sweater, printed infinity scarf, coated denim, suede booties.

The sheer layer under the sweater paired up with coated denim is a special detail for a night out on the town.

Look 3 – Thanksgiving Day

Outfit Pieces: Loden green skinny pants, mustard sweater, print blouse, leopard booties.

Even though I’m usually the cook for Thanksgiving dinner, I still love to get a little dressed up for the festivities. The colors and patterns in this outfit are just so right together for fall.

The winner was Look #2!  It’s SO comfortable while looking totally put together. Plus I’ve been searching for the perfect pair of coated jeans and this pair is it.

GetYourPrettyOn_NordstromRack_PHOTO07There’s a new Nordstrom Rack in town and I got to be one of the lucky ones to experience it first. Nordstrom Rack Gallery on the Parkway hosted a private preview of their newest Dallas store, located just north of the Galleria Mall on the Dallas Parkway. My husband and I were treated like shopping royalty from the moment we stepped through the doors of this beautiful new store. Champagne and hors d’oeuvres were served as we browsed the extensive selection of name brand clothing and accessories.

One of my blogging assignments was to find and style three fall outfits. In about 15 minutes, I had three outfits I absolutely loved. That has never happened at any store EVER.  To say that Nordstrom Rack is my style is a total understatement. Stay tuned for an upcoming post with all three fall looks I created and the big reveal of which one came home with me.

The employees were extremely attentive and helpful throughout the evening. One made a special trip to get a cart for me and another helped my husband decide between two pairs of oxfords. How nice is that?

GetYourPrettyOn_NordstromRack_PHOTO05The handbag department was drool-worthy with its selection of Tory Burch, Kate Spade and many other designer brands at incredible prices.

GetYourPrettyOn_NordstromRack_PHOTO03My husband captioned this next pic “Shopping is SERIOUS business.” True dat.

GetYourPrettyOn_NordstromRack_PHOTO04Now let’s talk about shoes for a minute (one of my favorite topics).  I could’ve seriously spent the entire evening in the shoe department.  There were so many pairs of name brand boots, shoes and booties for fall – Sam Edelman, Tory Burch, Coach, Ugg and even my beloved Frye.

These Calvin Klein leopard booties were a definite fave.

GetYourPrettyOn_NordstromRack_PHOTO06The new Dallas store opened its doors to the public on October 10th. I’ll definitely be a frequent customer.

Be sure to come back tomorrow for my Nordstrom Rack outfit reveal!
