Hey pretties! Do I ever have a special treat for you today (in more ways than one). My guest is none other than The Bachelor Sean Lowe’s sister Shay!
Not to be overshadowed by her little brother, Shay’s got some mad skills in her own right. Including her ability to whip up some of the simplest, yet most delicious and creative family recipes that I’ve ever tried. She’s a sweet, gorgeous girl with the most beautiful family ever. (I swear, they’re so pretty, it’s almost unfair.) Today she’s going to share some of her favorite treats and a sneak peek into life as Sean’s big sis with us.
Hi! I’m Shay and today, Alison is letting me get my
foodie on at her blog. I’m a wife, a mom of two young kids, a world traveler, a Starbucks addict, a lover of all things Boston Red Sox, a shopaholic, and a
foodie blogger. Oh…and I’m also the Bachelor’s big sister. Life is kind of crazy but always fun at my house. I’m so blessed to share my life and food with my friends and family…and you!
This is my family…
Andrew, Kensington (4) and Smith (3) complete my world.
This is my little brother…
You think he’s a nice guy on TV…you should be his sister! He’s an even better brother!
Some days on my blog, I recap episodes of the Bachelor and give you behind the scenes details and photos…like this one…
And some days, I talk about traveling abroad with young kiddos…
But
most days, I just talk about being a mom…having great friends…and surviving the daily routine of life thanks to the blessings of the Lord.
Oh…and I always talk about food.
My foodie blog gives you simple, satisfying recipes for the busy lady on the go. Whether it’s dinner or dessert you need, my recipes will help you get your foodie on every day with little time or effort.
Here are just a few of my favorite recipes you might want to make for your family…
My
Taco Pasta is easy, flavorful and a family favorite.
My
Meatball Sliders will leave your speechless! They’re that good and that simple!
And since I am a girl obsessed with her slow cooker, I adore my
BBQ Chicken Apple Sandwiches. The slow cooker is my best friend in the kitchen :).
But we can’t forget about dessert! Here are a couple of recipes for your St. Patrick’s Day and Easter. Every great meal ends with an even better dessert…
And every Easter needs a little coconut, right? My
Coconut Pie Bars are the perfect Easter dessert (they’re actually perfect any day of the week…).
Thanks Alison for letting me get my foodie on! Like I said before, I am a bit of a shopper too…so, just in case you wanted to know how I get my pretty on…here are a few of my favorite things…
I’m a girl who always wears
wedges.
Thank YOU Shay for sharing your yummy recipes, family photos and super cute style with us!
