Earlier this week, I attended the Cocktails with Kendra event at the new Kendra Scott store in Plano. It was a fun and festive evening where I got to meet the very beautiful and totally down to earth woman behind the brand.
Kendra is one inspiring mama. In 2002, she started a mini-jewelry collection with just $500 which has grown into a global multi-million dollar brand. Her Austin-based jewelry line is wildly popular among celebrities but is offered at a price point that we regular women can afford. As a mom and business woman Kendra believes in putting family first and has remained true to her philosophy of “Family, Fashion and Philanthropy” even as her success has exploded.
Staying true to her Austin roots, Kendra’s cocktails featured Austin vodka brand Deep Eddy, mixed into festive holiday blends with names inspired by her collection.
The in-store displays are as unique and gorgeous as each piece in her line. If you’ve been around here for long, you know that I’m obsessed with wearing my Kendra Scott “Rayne” necklace (pictured above) with everything. It’s the perfect statement piece to add a little something special to any outfit, from a casual tunic and leggings to dressier holiday looks.
