Three Thanksgiving Outfits from Your Closet

Template v3-3

Thanksgiving is always a busy time in our household.  I usually host our family’s gathering with up to 20 guests.  The week before is filled with planning the menu, shopping for food, cooking and cleaning the house in preparation for company.

Who has time to plan what to wear let alone shop for an outfit for Thanksgiving dinner?

Luckily I have three quick outfits for you today that you can create right from your closet.  One less thing on your to-do list and mine too!

Outfit #1 – Casual Thanksgiving

  1. Alison,

Thanks for the ideas on what to wear on Thanksgiving. I’m always so busy cooking that day that I always end in just the jeans I threw on that morning and some old graphic tee. Love all the outfits!

  2. These are beautiful outfits but i would roast alive cooking and talking and running back and forth in any of these. I think the white blouse (no sweater) with the big pearls and a beautiful apron that I could remove later would work for me. Also, I think I’ll get a pedicure and wear flip flops. Thanks for even thinking of this, I certainly haven’t! ….(adding to my list)….

  3. We are having twenty also. I am the main one cooking so I will wear something cooler than a sweater or cardigan..maybe just a blouse and pants or jeans. I won’t be wearing suede booties. I would spill something on them for sure! No scarf, bracelets but maybe a necklace.

  4. I will have a hard time deciding between all of these great outfits! Thanks for the ideas! Happy Thanksgiving

  5. I love outfit #1! The emerald green blouse is gorgeous and would keep a busy cook cool. With the skiiny jeans and boots, it is so put together and looks like you shopped foreever for just the right pieces! The leopard (who doesn’t love leopard?) is the whipped cream on the pumpkin pie! Thanks for the great idea!
