Five Days of Fall Outfits

The official calendar start of fall is still a few days away, but here at GYPO we’ve been awaiting fall since Starbucks decided to drop its pumpkin spice latte in late August. And while I am a creature of habit, I do enjoy the change of seasons and with that the changing over of my closet.

Over the summer I offered some fun and easy outfits to help you get through the hot and busy summer days so I think it’s only fair that I do the same for fall. Below are five outfits pulled from the Style Challenges Fall 2019 Capsule Wardrobe to help make this seasonal transition even smoother.

If you’re wondering what a style challenge is, think of what I’ve provided below but for 33 days with some bonus outfits thrown in there. I provide a list of pieces you’ll need. I always recommend shopping your closet first and then fill in the gaps using any store and price range you want. Finally, see how the items are pieced together to create a complete look and spend the next month not thinking about what you’re going to wear. The best part is it’s totally customizable to what you want. Enjoy the outfit formulas below and make them your own!

Note: Unfortunately some of the items are out of stock or are from my closet, so I’ve provided links to similar alternatives.

Day One

Neutral Cardigan + Camo / Olive Top + Gray Bottoms + Taupe Booties

Neutral Cardigan (similar) / Camo Top (similar) or Olive Top / Gray Bottoms / Taupe Booties / Hoop Earrings / Pendant Necklace / Black Purse

I’m wearing the gray bottoms and hoop earrings from above and I decided to skip the pendant necklace. Unfortunately, the camo shirt I am wearing is sold out but here is a great alternative. Also, the booties and cardigan are from my closet from seasons past but here is a similar cardigan and similar booties.

Day Two

Fall Color Cardigan + White Top + Bootcut or Wideleg Jeans + Leopard or Snake Print Shoes

Fall Color Cardigan / White Top / Bootcut or Wideleg Jeans / Leopard or Snake Print Shoes / Black Purse / Tortoise Earrings (similar) / Pendant Necklace / Wrap Bracelet

I’m wearing the items listed above however the cardigan in orange is sold out but here is a similar one and there are only a few sizes left in the wide leg jeans but here’s a similar pair as well. The leopard shoes and tortoise earrings I’m wearing are also sold out but here’s an alternative pair of leopard shoes and tortoise earrings.

Day Three

Moto Jacket + Leopard Print Top + Black Bottoms + Knee High Boots or Metallic Shoes

Moto Jacket / Leopard Print Top / Black Bottoms / Knee High Boots or Metallic Shoes / Fall Color Purse (similar) / Tortoise Earrings (similar)

Here I decided to swap out the black bottoms for my dark wash denim and I’m wearing this moto jacket and this leopard top. The tortoise earrings are sold out however here is a similar pair and I also added a wrap bracelet. Lastly, the metallic shoes are from my closet but here is a similar pair.

Day Four

Bright Top + Light Wash Jeans + Leopard or Snake Print Shoes

Bright Top / Light Wash Jeans / Leopard or Snake Print Shoes / Black Purse / Hoop Earrings / Pendant Necklace

I’m wearing the gray bottoms, pendant necklace and hoop earrings from above but I paired it with this bright top. There are only a few sizes left in the snake print mules I’m wearing but here is a great alternative if your size isn’t available.

Day Five

Denim Jacket + Striped Top + Black Bottoms + Red Boots or Red Shoes

Denim Jacket / Striped Top / Black Bottoms / Red Boots or Red Shoes (similar) / Black Purse / Tortoise Earrings (similar)

I’m wearing everything pictured above except I opted for dark wash jeans instead of black bottoms and pair of red mules. The mules are unfortunately are sold out as well as the tortoise earrings but here’s a similar pair of mules and a similar pair of tortoise earrings.
