Summer’s long weekends are just around the corner! My daughter and I recently got a little taste of it when we took a four day weekend for her cheer competition in sunny Florida. We both decided to pack light and make the most of every single piece we took.
I purposely packed pieces that could be easily transformed from casual day wear to dinner appropriate by just adding a few accessories. Plus every piece mixed and matched for even more outfit options. Here are the exact pieces that I took on our trip.
What to Pack
Quick Tip: Pin this post. Even if you don’t have a weekend getaway planned yet, you’ll have it handy when you do!
Pack as many as you can. Accessories barely take up any space in your suitcase and they can totally change up the look of your outfits.
- Short Necklace
- Tassel Necklace
- Pendant Necklace
- Stud Earrings
- Hoop Earrings
- Wrap Bracelet
- Cuff Bracelet
Please Note: I really don’t expect you to only wear four outfits during your getaway. This is a small packing list but all of the tops and bottoms are mix and match. You can at least double the amount of outfits listed below by mixing and matching the pieces. Try it!
What to Wear
1. Solid Tee + Dark Wash Jeans + Wedges
2. Printed Top + Boyfriend Shorts + Sandals
3. Cardigan + Striped Tee + White Jeans + Wedges
4. Swimsuit + Cover Up + Sandals
5. Maxi Dress + Sandals
Keep all your accessories in check with a convenient hanging accessories case. This came in really handy for organizing all of the jewelry that I took with me.
