I Feel Pretty | Sixties Style

The Christmas season officially kicks off with our annual girls’ day at the ballet.  Last weekend, my mother, sisters, daughters and I went to see The Nutcracker.  We thoroughly enjoy our little girls’ only, no boys allowed, tradition.  Although the guys wouldn’t want to come anyway.  Instead they had some male bonding over wings, darts and football.  🙂

I wore this bright Sixties Sweater from Boden USA along with jacquard ankle pants and leopard heels.  My mom said I looked like Audrey Hepburn in this outfit.  I’ll definitely take that as a compliment!

Boden epitomizes great British style.  Their classic styles and silhouettes are timeless.  Best of all, everything is 25% off now through December 13th.  Plus you’ll get 40% off 40 styles from December 5th through December 9th.  Check out some of my favorites like these pieces.

I can see why your mom made the comparison. The neck on the top is what really gave it the 60s feel. Cute!

You definitely do have an Audrey vibe going. And as she was so poised and elegant, so are you.

These types of gender-separate activities used to pain me ’cause, forced to play sports and act tough, I longed to accompany the girls to ballet. *sigh*

Oh, I love Boden! Such classic, well-made clothes! I think I would go for one of their striped tees, like the “Autumn Breton” striped shirt. And I loooooooove the retro ’60s look on you, especially with your bouncy, shiny hair. Gorgeous! 🙂

To be truly honest, if I won this giveaway, I’d buy lightweight crewneck and lightweight boatneck tees. I have so many necklaces that I’d like to show off and simple tees seem to work best for me versatility-wise. Thanks for the chance to win!
