Life feels anything but normal right now. In fact, it is the complete and total opposite and as we all do our best to get through the next few days, weeks or even months, it’s so important to focus on what we can control instead of what we can’t. So what can I control? I can be here for you. I think January is officially the longest month of the year. The last few months have been a quick blur with all the activities and holidays and now, well now it’s just winter. And while some retailers are already steamrolling into spring, others are releasing their second wave of winter attire. With this, I’m seeing lots of winter pastels in everything from wool jackets to cozy sweaters and stylish handbags. Maybe this is their way of already easing us into spring but the warm colors are a nice welcome in the winter months.
A new year means a fresh start which is why for this month’s Style Your Budget I decided on the soft, clean, fresh look of a winter white top and paired it with a few closet staples such as gray jeans and black ankle boots. Then I couldn’t resist mixing in a beautiful winter pastel handbag to finish off the look. As much as we try to find ways to slow down and enjoy the holidays, they still end up being an insane time of year. So while I can’t help you with your decorations or cook a fabulous holiday dinner, I can help you plan your outfit for the day and give you one less thing to think about with this month’s Style Your Budget.

What I love about this month’s Style Your Budget outfit is the flexibility. You can even swap out the cardigan for a camel color jacket if it’s extra chilly where you live. Add in some leopard slip-ons for a more casual look or opt for heels if you want to dress it up.
