Five Bargain Beauty Best Buys

Five Bargain Beauty Best Buys

I love luxury cosmetics and beauty products just as much as the next woman.  But let’s be realistic, busy moms are all about convenience and a good bargain too!   Most of the time, I’m not going out of my way to a department store to shop for high end products.  When I need something, I want it and I want it now.  A trip to my local Walgreen’s or Target usually does the trick.

During my drugstore shopping trips, I’ve run across a few bargain beauty products that have become must-haves.  Here are five of my favorites, all under $10 each.

1.  Jergen’s Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer

Fake it, don’t bake it.  That’s exactly what I did in this post!  Jergen’s Natural Glow gives me a gradual, subtle, natural sun-kissed glow that doesn’t look like an Oompa Loompa.  It takes about a week to build up to my desired color but lasts for up to two weeks after.  Their new formula also smells better than ever before.  2.  Wet n Wild MegaLast Nail Color

Even though I try to get regular mani/pedis, I always seem to end up doing my own nails between visits.  This pretty mint has been  my new favorite.  I’ve lost count of how many compliments I’ve gotten on this $1.99 nail color.  It lasts as long as my salon manicures too, sometimes longer!

3.  L’Oreal Total Repair 5 Conditioner

I just started using this conditioner last week and am totally hooked.  It smooths, moisturizers and de-tangles better than any conditioner I’ve used at any price, including my beloved Kerastase.  My damaged heat-styled hair is looking healthier already after only a couple of uses.

4.  Dove Style + Care Hairspray

Ojon Damage Reverse hairspray used to be my go-to.  Not anymore.  Dove Style + Care in the Strength & Shine formula holds better, provides more shine and smells like heaven, or a baby’s bottom.  Maybe both.  Either way, I’m considering buying this stuff by the case.

5.  Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick – Kate Moss Collection

Beautiful, vibrant long-lasting color that stays put and feels silky?  Yep, that pretty much sums it up!  This lipstick is my new addiction and for only $4.99, it’s one that won’t put me on Skid Row.  I’m wearing it in color #12 in this post.
