Hey pretties! I’m starting a new monthly series today called Easy Outfit Formulas. I’ll bet you can guess what it’s about. That’s right! My favorite tried and true outfit formulas that make it easy to get dressed everyday.
Today I’m featuring one of my favorite spring to summer transition looks. If it’s cooler where you live, you can wear long jeans instead of cropped with a long-sleeved chambray. When the weather heats up, you can swap out the jeans for white shorts and pair them with sandals instead of flats.
EASY OUTFIT FORMULA
White Denim + Striped Tee + Chambray
Add Ons: A fedora, your favorite bag and a pair of bright shoes for a pop of color.

My feet stayed happy all day in these super comfortable bow ballet flats from Ecco. They are very lightweight and have long-term cushioning for all day wear. The leather is soft, lightweight and breathable. These would be great to wear for shopping, a field trip or a day at the zoo.
It’s Your Turn: How would you make this easy outfit formula your own? Tell me in the comments!

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been featuring pieces from my Wallis weekend getaway wardrobe. This wardrobe was part of the Miraval and Wallis mom’s weekend getaway prize. Although my magical weekend at Miraval resort is over, I’ll be styling my Wallis wardrobe staples throughout the fall.
Today’s outfit features three of my favorite pieces from the collection – this sheer floral blouse, a lightweight striped open front cardigan and my favorite – the black and stone Juno bag.

Stripes and floral are so made for each other, right?

I have one rule for handbags…the bigger, the better.
My bag is so big, I’ve nicknamed her Large Marge.
Marge isn’t sexy. She’s utilitarian, a workhorse of a girl filled to the brim with everything under the sun. She holds it all – from nail files to nail polish, cotton balls to moisturizer. Heck, I could give makeovers out of her.
I’ve tried going with those petite, cute little purses but they only lasted a day or two before I saddled myself up with Marge again.
Yet there are times when Marge just isn’t the best companion. Like the other night when I was getting ready for date night with hubby. A bright clutch would’ve been perfect but I don’t even own one.
So instead I dragged Marge along. Ugh.
I think it’s time for some clutch shopping. Sorry Marge, but mama needs a brand new bag and you are NOT invited along on the next date night.
These are some of the affordable and trendy spring clutches that I’ve got my eye on.
