While it’s still technically winter, in some places the temperatures are starting rise and stores are slowly beginning to release their spring lines. Every fall I get really excited about the boots and the scarves and the promise of colder weather, but I also think I’m ready for some warmer weather and some lighter fabrics. I know that I need to be careful what I ask for because in Texas “spring” is a relative term. It’s that time of the year between chilly and the temperature of the sun and it doesn’t last all that long, which is why I plan on soaking up every second of this picture-perfect weather.
Recently I’ve been searching out some of the coming trends for spring and once again I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the fun spring fashions I’m finding from our friends at Walmart! They have some beautiful light sweaters, easy spring dresses and fabulous florals like the top below. I know traditionally I’m a tee shirt and jeans kind of girl but this floral top is super cute! Pair it with some crop jeans and metallic slip-ons and I’m easily ready for the day.
1. Sofia Vergara Flutter Short Sleeve Wrap Top
This wrap top is pretty much where this look all started. It is the epidemy of spring with its floral print against the pink background. The best thing about this top is that it can easily be dressed up with a pair of black or white dress pants and heels or dressed down for a more casual look like I’ve done here with some jeans and sneakers.
2. Time and Tru Utility Jacket in Green
For those who are still experiencing a chill in the air, this green utility jacket is perfect. This is a very versatile piece that not only will you get to enjoy in the spring, but you’ll also get some use out of it when fall rolls around.
3. Sofia Vergara Rosa Curvy High Waist Destructed Ankle Jeans
For this look, I went with a deconstructed denim that sits right around the ankle. They have some stretch to them for a more comfortable fit. Try cuffing up the bottoms once for some added detail.
4. Time and Tru Metallic Slip-On
I am a huge fan of metallic slip-ons and these are perfect for the springtime! They make it easy to feel trendy, stylish AND comfortable and I love the little perforation details.

These rose gold sunglasses immediately caught my eye. (Pun intended 😊) The aviator look is timeless and the rose gold is the perfect complement to the gold jewelry and metallic slip-ons. They are ultra classic and make the perfect springtime accessory!

I love the simplicity of these drop earrings. The mother of pearl inlay creates a softness that complements the softness of the pink floral top. I love mixing different textures and elements and this look is no different.

Again, there’s a lot of elements to this look so I wanted to keep the jewelry simple. This beautiful crescent necklace fills the V neck of the top perfectly but isn’t overwhelming.

Lastly, you need a great bag and since it’s summer and we’re traveling a little lighter, I found this awesome circle crossbody purse in a blush color. It adds the perfect finishing touch to this fun spring look!
