Fall Transition Outfits: Peplum Tee Now and Later

This is definitely the time of year to buy pieces that are going to do double duty across two seasons.  When I spied this tiered peplum tee a few weeks ago, I knew it would make the perfect fall transition piece!

For the most part, I’m a basic t-shirt and jeans (or shorts) kind of girl in my every day life.  But basic t-shirts can get kind of boring after awhile.  Simple details like the tiered peplum trim of this shirt add interest to the tee and jeans formula.  Add in a cute necklace and shoes and you’ve got an instant outfit!

Here are two ways that I’m wearing my tiered peplum tee for late summer and early fall.

Alison, I love everything about these two outfits but specifically how you have accessorized each outfit. I am loving the statement necklace in the summer outfit and the peek-a-book booties in the fall one. The only reason I am looking forward to fall is for the boots and leggings. 🙂

You’ve transitioned this top perfectly! I’m a firm believer in trying to make my clothes work for more than one season so this post is right up my alley. Also, the necklace in the spring picture is so pretty!!
