You’ve probably already heard of Gwyneth Paltrow’s web site Goop, and maybe not always for good reasons.
Even though she’s been named one of the most hated celebrities, I have nothing against Gwynnie. My only gripe is that most of what she features isn’t in the budget of your average everyday woman. But hey, it’s her web site and her price point and she’s not trying to appeal to me as her ideal customer.
Her new wildly popular monthly capsule wardrobes under the Goop Label are selling out within hours. It’s pretty obvious why, she picks classic pieces that you can wear forever, has them manufactured in Italy and sells them direct to consumers. This “cutting out the middle man” model makes them less expensive than designers but even at direct costs, they’re still WAY out of my budget.
Despite the budgetary restrictions, I adore her pieces. They are truly classic and beautiful and probably worth every penny. But since I can only dream about them, I’ve challenged myself to come up with some affordable Goop substitutes at a more realistic price point to share with you. Here are my GYPO Dupes for Goop’s November capsule.
Goop November Capsule Total – $995
GYPO Dupe November Capsule Total – $291*
