Team GYPO’s Favorite Things

Alright Pretties, I’ve given you my top list of favorite gifts as well as gifts for the guys. Now it’s time to find out what Team GYPO’s favorite picks for the holiday season are. We hope this will help you find the perfect gifts for the lovely ladies on your list or at least spark some inspiration!

1. Sole Society Ava Weekender Bag

Because every woman needs a proper bag to travel in style. Whether it’s a girls’ weekend or a romantic getaway, this bag by Sole Society is just the right size! It’s made of vegan leather and comes in this beautiful cognac color. I also love the little details of the bag, the pocket on the outside for smaller items such as your sunglasses and the lining is a really pretty, almost leopard print. Also, I will admit, I may also be a little partial to the name. (My youngest’s name is Ava.) Giving this bag is also giving the perfect excuse to get out of town for the weekend!

2. Invoda Travel Cosmetic Bags

Now that you’ve got the weekend travel bag all picked out, now you need to make sure your toiletries have a safe place to travel. What I love about this bag is that it keeps all your bottles upright to reduce spills and compartments inside help with this too. It also comes with a small jewelry case and one for your makeup brushes. Plus it’s machine washable, very well priced and has excellent reviews.

3. Every Day: A Five-Year Memory Book

If you want to start journaling or know someone who does but you find it a little intimidating, this is an awesome book to help you start! Your daily diary entries for each day of the year are recorded five times on each page – one journal entry for each of 5 years on a given date. Once you’re done with the first year of writing, then you go back and start at the beginning again. Not only is this a low threat way to journal, but it can be enlightening to see what was going on in your life on a particular day the year or two prior.

4. YETI Rambler 20 oz

Okay, so this is an item I almost listed under the guy’s gift-giving guide, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought that the women may enjoy this a little more. First, can you really have enough insulated cups, mugs or water bottles? Plus, during these color winter months, beverages need to be hot and stay hot! Plus with the new design of the MagSlider lid, it makes cleaning even easier and you won’t have to worry about any mold or mildew buildup. Most of the insulated items I’ve come across are NOT dishwasher safe which means they need to be washed by hand. The Yeti Tumbler boasts how dishwasher safe it is and bonus, comes in so many cute colors! Pair this up with a bag of their favorite coffee, hot chocolate or tea for the perfect gift!

5. Pronexa Hairgenics Lavish Lash

GYPO’s lovely Lauren stumbled upon this beauty find and after checking out the reviews 4.4 out of 5 based on over 18,000 reviews, I couldn’t help but add this to the list! This lash boost and brow serum boast longer, fuller lashes after about a month of 2x a day use. Some said it took a little longer but insisted it worked. And at $30 a tube, the price is pretty affordable. Now keep in mind it will work differently for everyone and if you have any concerns, you should always consult your doctor before using.

6. Apple Watch

Now I know this gift is a little on the pricey side and maybe more than you want to spend on one person which is why this makes an excellent group gift. If you’re having trouble figuring out what to get that special someone, maybe the rest of your friends or family are too. I absolutely love my Apple Watch and I love it even more that I can customize it with these fun bands from A+A.

7. Perfume

Much like getting socks for guys, getting perfume for the ladies is not some crazy unique idea but it’s still a great gift and my guess it isn’t not something we often buy for ourselves. You can either keep with their daily favorite or mix it up with a new scent that may be perfect for a special night out. The top recommendations from the GYPO team are, Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker, Tuscan Blood Orange by Pacifica Roll-On, SHI by Alfred Sung, Very Irrésistible by Givenchy.

8. Indulge in Some Decadance

Sometimes we really do have enough stuff which is why I believe fun food items can make a great gift. They are able to be enjoyed and savored without adding more ‘stuff’ to our lives. Try these gourmet chocolates and truffles from Charbonnel Et Walker. They come in some fun flavors like Pink Champagne, or Milk Chocolate, Sea Salt and Carmel.

9. Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Lite Circle Cardigan

If you want to walk around feeling like you’re in your pajamas yet look put together than this is the cardigan you need. Boasting over 2,500 five star reviews this cardigan is sure to be your next favorite piece of clothing! Soft and oh so cozy, it comes in a variety of colors and is perfect for doing things around the house or out running errands. It would look fabulous with a pair of dark wash skinny jeans or even your favorite pair of leggings. Barefoot Dreams has a large collection of other soft and cozy items, including robes, throws, lounge pants and pull-overs just to name a few. Click here to see what’s available.

10. Laneige Kiss Me at Midnight

The Laneige Lip Sleeping Masks are a great way to combat dry, flaky lips this time of year and this cute gift set with all three ‘flavors’ are sure to make anyone smile. Treat your lips to some berry cocktail, minty rush, or sweet candy. While they are meant to be worn at night after applying a thick layer before bedtime, you can also dab some on during the day for a great glossy pout!

Bonus: Experiences

Yes, I’m guessing you probably already knew that I was going to say this but it’s true. Experience are some of the best things you can give to someone. It forces us to stop for one second in this crazy world and experience something fun, something unique and something memorable. Go have coffee with the friend you’ve been meaning to get together with for months. Babysit for a friend so they can have a date night with their spouse. Treat your parents to a bucket list item. It can cost as little or as much as you want, but no matter what, it will be something they will appreciate and enjoy!

Your turn! So did I help you cross anyone else off your list? Is it getting shorter now? What was your favorite gift idea?
