Spring Style | Five Favorite Looks

Five Looks for Spring I hope all of you mamas had the best Mother’s Day ever!  Mine was pretty near perfect.  Church, a nice lunch on the patio at one of my favorite restaurants, a bike ride and hike, followed by some shopping.  I just wish it lasted for more than one day.  🙂

Is it just me or has this spring seemed to fly by?  Maybe it’s because the weather hasn’t really been spring-like until recently.  I just can’t believe there are only a few weeks until the kids are out of school for the summer!

Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, I still had fun with my outfits this spring.  Actually this is the first season since I can remember that I’ve been really happy with my wardrobe.  Today, I thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of my favorite spring looks.

So happy you had neat Mother’s Day. You go out for lunch, then go hiking. And a bike ride? Really? I had dinner with the huz, managed to stay awake for The Borgias and Game of Thrones, and then took a nap with the dogs until bedtime.
Hugs to you and a belated Happy Mother’s Day!

  • Fabulous looks! Sounds like a lovely Mother’s Day!

  • Ainslee

I just found your blog via Style Sessions and am in love!! New follower 🙂 Love the outfits above, especially the pops of yellow.

    xo, Ainslee

  • Those first two outfits are probably my favorites! I just love the eshakti dress, it’s so fresh and beautiful and you rock the neutrals just as well as the neons! I just love your fun style 🙂 Glad your Mother’s day was a good one!

  • Jay A

I love all of your outfits. You have great style. My favorite spring trend is not really a trend but I’ve just discovered them: ballet flats, especially the ones elasticized on the sides (prevents that weird gap whenever I step). I also like wearing a blazer or short London Fog trench this spring instead of my handy fleece jacket or my beat-up 17 year old Georgetown jacket. Thanks to blogs like yours, I’m upgrading all of my outfits.

  • ok i really love #2 and #5!!

    Sandy a la Mode

  • Perfect example of all the spring looks! You’re such an inspiration! The military jacket with neons is a great look but I also love the soft colors of pink and white. And the trend of pattern mixing has been a lot of fun too!

  • Great outfits! Love your blouse in outfit #2… so pretty! Discovered your blog from your guest post on DC In Style. I’m your newest follower on Twitter and Bloglovin! 🙂

  • Great outfits, I would wear them all. You look so stylish. Well done and informative blog!

  • Soooooo many cute looks! Obsessed with number two!

  • Sam

Love all of these looks! I’ve been really into pattern mixing this spring. So fun to “break the rules” 🙂

  • Gorgeous outfits! I love the DKNY blouse in look 2 but 3 & 4 are my favourites! The sun is back out here today! 🙂 Andrea x

  • ALL adorable outfits!!!!!!

  • I love the Military Jacket with Neon best. However all of them look amazing girly!

  • ani

Alison, I think you look great in each of those outfit as they are all different from each other, but my favourite it the first look, you just look so pretty and flirtatious in dresses and skirts. So beautiful 🙂
